Capital Regional District confirms the presence of toxic blue-green algae at Beaver and Elk lakes.

Elk-Beaver Lake Regional Park is a great place to walk the dog, but if you go now keep away from the water!  There is a toxic blue-green algae bloom ocurring that could make you sick and even prove fatal for your pet.  This news story explains the situation.
