Langford Neighbourhoods – Happy Valley

by Geoff McLean on September 3, 2014

Happy Valley is a rural agricultural and residential neighbourhood in south Langford, bordering on the municipality of Metchosin.  This neighbourhood contains agricultural lands (ALR designated) as well as residential developments and has a distinctly friendly, laid back country atmosphere.

As one of Langford’s oldest neighbourhoods, Happy Valley is home to several unique farming ventures such as the Happy Valley Lavendar and Herb Farm, Littler Farms and Chidlow Farm. Langford is truly fortunate to have within its borders a variety of suppliers of fresh, local farm produce!

Families with school aged children can send them to:

Happy Valley offers the ambiance of rural living with all the conveniences of city life nearby.  There is ample shopping at Westshore Town Centre or in Millstream Village and Goldstream Village.  Recreational facilities include the Juan de Fuca Rec Centre, the YMCA/YWCA Aquatic Centre or VI Fitness Centre for Women.  Play a round of Golf at Bear Mountain or Olympic View Golf courses.
