Increasing growth for the Victoria Real Estate Market!

Victoria Real Estate prices continue to rise in the beginning of 2018 for single family and condominium homes by 6.73% and 17.25% respectively from January to March 2018. The average sale price of townhouses decreased from February to March (8.96%), but experienced an overall growth of 8.71% since January. As well, the Home Price Index (HPI) continues to grow annually from March 2017 to March 2018 with more people moving to Victoria from other parts of BC, Canada and internationally. Within the CRD, Westshore is leading the HPI followed by the Peninsula and Victoria REB. The number of units sold for single family homes, condos and townhouses are rising as well, and it is anticipated this growth will persist into the Spring and Summer months
