Summer Swimming Programs in Victoria BC
If you’re looking for a summer activity to keep you children busy and fit this upcoming summer, you should investigate summer swimming programs in Victoria BC. The British Columbia Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) operates a comprehensive learn to swim and competitive swimming program that runs from May through August each year, culminating in provincial championships for those who qualify.
The BCSSA promotes, and encourages the development of athletes and volunteers through participation in speed swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming. Summer swimming is a great option for kids who play other sports and helps them to build their fitness as well as learning valuable ( some would say necessary) swimming skills.
