In 1971, Camosun College began educating students in Victoria, and since then, has earned an outstanding reputation for teaching excellence. Two separate campuses; Interurban and Landsdowne, offer a diverse selection of programs for students.
Adopted from the Songhees First Nation, the name Camosun means “where different waters meet and are transformed.” Very appropriate considering that the college now boasts approximately 12,500 learners (8,600 full-time equivalents) registered in degree, diploma and certificate programs and a further 7,400 registrants in courses offered through our continuing education department, including 800 Aboriginal students from 50 Nations including Métis and Inuit groups, and over 700 International students.
The Interurban Campus of Camosun College is also home to the Pacific Centre for Sport Excellence; a unique and holistic sport development model that will fuel Canada’s sport performance, build a healthier nation and develop role models to inspire physical literacy by bringing sport education and athlete development under one roof.
Camosun College offers:
• More than 160 degree, diploma and certificate programs;
• Over 300 courses in first year university transfer (direct transfer to BC universities like UVic, SFU, UBC, etc.);
• Lower tuition and smaller classes than many universities and private colleges;
• Two campuses easily accessible to those who are living in Victoria;
• More than 1000 dedicated faculty and staff members, and
• Excellent results – 91% of graduates are currently working or continuing their studies.

As one of the primary providers of post-secondary education in Victoria, Camosun College has and continues to be a great asset to the Greater Victoria area, it’s residents and those who move to Victoria to further their education.

Victoria BC Realtor Heather Wilde was raised and educated in Winnipeg. After graduating from both the University of Winnipeg (Bachelor of Arts) and the University of Manitoba Faculty of Education she relocated to British Columbia in 1975. Her career in real estate has been successful due to her commitment to and genuine pleasure at helping families find homes and properties for sale in Victoria BC. Heather was licensed as a Realtor in 1976 and since then has worked hard to achieve a high standard of performance; consistently attaining a Victoria Real Estate Board MLS Gold Award. If you ask Heather, she will undoubtedly say that although it’s nice to be recognized in the industry through performance awards, what really drives her success is the relationships and friendships she forges with the families that she helps. Many of Heather’s former clients have become close friends, and many of her close friends have become clients. That says a lot about her dedication to providing professional service while maintaining a friendly rapport with clients. Heather loves to travel the world (preferrably on a cruise ship!) and also enjoys tennis and bridge during her spare time. As of January 2014, Heather has retired from her real estate career.
