You will find Coles Bay Regional Park tucked away on the west side of the Saanich Peninsula in North Saanich. This gem of a park boasts a sheltered beach where little ones can paddle and a lovely trail winding through a forest of evergreens along a creek.
There are picnic tables so bring your lunch and spend some time relaxing, exploring the beach and watching the seabirds. The park is very secluded and is rarely frequented by more than a few visitors at once.
How to Get to Coles Bay Regional Park
Take the Pat Bay Highway from Victoria, and exit onto West Saanich Road. Follow West Saanich Road until you reach Ardmore Drive, turn left and then left again on Inverness Road, which will lead you to the park entrance. It takes about half an hour from Victoria to reach this usually quiet little park. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Visiting one of our beautiful regional parks is one of the best things to do in Victoria BC!
